Information about GPS collars
GPS collars are designed to take the positions of a tracked animal.
The complete GPS collar is a complex mixture of different hardware: GPS board, memory, satellite antenna, batteries and a lot of cables.
All the different hardware parts have to be sealed and shock resistant. The collar belts have to be able to be lengthened or shortened according
to the variation of the animals neck size.
Very important is the software.
